Serteks -Compacting Machine with Tenter & Rubber Belt for Open Knitted Fabrics

Tubular Compactor

The compacting process exercises a controlled shrinkage action on the fabric, to eliminate any deformations produced during the preceding operations. Once finished according to this procedure, the fabric retains its dimensions, even after several wash cycles, resulting in articles characterized by great dimensional stability.

This ensures an excellent shrinkage action on any type of fabric, from the most delicate cotton to the most highly sophisticated denim.

COOLING BELT UNIT
After the calendaring system, the fabric is made to pass over o belt, normally having a mesh structure, where is undergoes a process of cooling and extraction of residual steam, by means of a lateral suction system.

FELT CALENDER UNIT

As it leaves the compressive unit, the fabric is transferred to the drying station where a felt calender fixes the shrinkage effect on a permament basis. Following the compacting process, tension in the fabric must be minimized.

RUBBER BELT

The rubber belt is suitable for processing and shrinking both woven and knitted fabrics.
